Lateran University Library

The block is divided by light and space.
Reading space is designed near the bookshelf, but the light illumnate the reading space.
All space can transfer free, the floor is not stable.

The main assembly hall was restored to conform to modern safety and comfort standards as well as to incorporate the normal technical specification of a modern conference hall- projection facilities, sound diffusion and acoustic control.

The atrium provides necessary light for reading space, and the changing floor around the atrium forms a central area in this building.

This case teaches me a helpful design strategy "the atrium", which is useful to create a centralized space.
