KIGA

The compact building block is situated at the upper north area of the plot. The north corner of the mainly 1-storey high kinder- garden rises up into a second floor annex to correspond with the surrounding building heights and to cover the entrance area. 

Designing details of store is subtle in this building, architect made use of small space to store clothes and shoes.

The interior decoration is achieved by space and plates. Actually, materials are just used to present the different space.

Wall-sized windows enhance the impression to be part of the exterior green spaces. Two covered courtyards cut big scars into the building. While separating the classrooms these yards mainly connect the assembly-hall in the South-West to the gigantic park in the South-East. 

As an interior architectural student, I learned the way of sharping space. Specifically, different kinds of materials are suitable for different space, so for me, I will try to use these materials.
